Terms of use

Last updated: September 22, 2026

1. Who's selling

It Girl City Guides ("we", "the site") is a one-person business researching and writing digital city travel guides. By buying from or using this site, you agree to the terms below.

2. What you're buying

Every product is a digital PDF, sold as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. No physical item is ever shipped. Once payment clears, the file is available for instant download, in A4, A5, and US Letter sizes.

3. Payment and who you're contracting with

Checkout and payment are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. When you buy a guide, you're contracting with Paddle as the authorized reseller of the product, and Paddle handles VAT, sales tax, invoicing, and card processing directly. Your card details never reach our servers or this site. Paddle's own buyer terms apply alongside this page and are available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms-2022.

4. License: what you can and can't do with a guide

Buying a guide gives you a personal-use license: download it, put it on your own phone or laptop, print it for your own trip, share it with people you're actually traveling with. What it doesn't give you is the right to resell it, redistribute it, repost its content, or share the file publicly, including in group chats, forums, or on social media. Guide text, design, and imagery are protected by copyright. Each PDF is personalized to the buyer at purchase; sharing it beyond your own trip isn't something we chase legally, but it's also not part of the deal.

5. Accuracy and limitation of liability

Every place, price, and opening hour in a guide is researched and sourced as of the date printed on it, and cross-checked before publication. Businesses close, prices rise, and hours change after that date, in ways no guide can predict. We flag anything we couldn't independently confirm at the time of writing, but we can't guarantee a place will still be exactly as described when you get there; confirm details yourself before you rely on them, especially for anything requiring a reservation. We're not liable for costs or disappointment arising from information that changed after publication.

6. Refunds

Refund and withdrawal terms are on a dedicated page: /refunds.

7. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. A plain note on this page

This page is written in plain language by the person who runs this site, not drafted by a law firm. It's accurate to how the business actually operates today. Questions about anything here: /contact.
