Refund policy
Last updated: September 22, 2026
Digital product, digital rule
Everything we sell is a PDF you download instantly after payment. That changes how refunds work compared to a physical product: there's no return shipping, and delivery is complete the moment the file reaches you.
The EU right of withdrawal, and how it's waived
If you're buying from the EU, consumer law normally gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal on any purchase, including digital content. For digital downloads specifically, that right can be waived if you give explicit, informed consent before the download starts, and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it does. At checkout, you'll see this as a separate, unchecked checkbox, not a term buried in paragraph text, and the download won't begin until you tick it yourself. If you don't consent, the standard 14-day withdrawal period applies instead.
Paddle is the seller
Checkout runs through Paddle.com Market Limited, our payment provider and the Merchant of Record for every purchase, meaning Paddle is the legal seller you're buying from, not us directly. Refund requests are ultimately processed under Paddle's own policy, which sits alongside this one and can be read at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms-2022. Writing to us via /contact is still the fastest way to reach a real person about any purchase.
When we do refund
If the file is corrupted, the download link doesn't work, you were charged twice, or you received the wrong product, write to us via /contact with your order details and we'll fix it or refund it, reviewed individually rather than by a script. "I changed my mind" isn't grounds for a refund once you've downloaded the file and waived the withdrawal right at checkout, for the same reason a shop can't resell an opened product; before you've downloaded it, the standard withdrawal terms above apply.
If the information is wrong or outdated
Places close and prices move after a guide is published. That's covered on the terms page, not treated as grounds for a refund on its own, but if something in a guide is seriously wrong, not just changed since publication, tell us via /contact and we'll look at it directly. Guides also get refreshed on a regular schedule, and a note from someone who was actually there is what triggers a correction fastest.
A plain note on this page
This page is written in plain language by the person who runs this site, not drafted by a law firm. It's accurate to how checkout actually works today. If you have a question this page doesn't answer, write to us via /contact.
